May 31, 2000 (Palmdale, Calif.) - Sean Woodside and REF Motorsports head next to Cajon Speedway in El Cajon, Calif. for this Saturday's Food4Less 100, bringing with them both the benefit of wins and top-five finishes at the 3/8-mile paved oval and high hopes for a strong finish.

Woodside ran a number of Late Model races at Cajon several years ago, and won several of the events. The Food4Less 100 will be the 1999 NASCAR Winston West champion's first effort at Cajon in a Featherlite Southwest Series, NASCAR Touring car.

REF Motorsports posted a fourth place finish at El Cajon in the 1998 Southwest Series event with former driver Dennis Dyer. In the 1999 event, Dyer was running in second place when a spin out forced him into the pits for 19 laps for repairs, resulting in a 16th place finish.

Woodside commented, "I had a good time running at Cajon in the mid-90's in the late model program. We did well and won some races. Hopefully, we'll be able to transfer some of that success to our Southwest Series program."

Woodside and the team will be working for a finish that will help them recoup the two positions they lost in the point standings following a troubled run two weeks ago at PPIR. The team finished 22nd in that event, taking them from 3rd to 5th in the season's point standings.
