Featherlite Southwest Series, NASCAR Touring: Joe Benedetti won the Ray Judy 150 at Tucson Raceway Park, the final race of the season for the Series.

Benedetti averaged 71.818 mph during the chase around the 3/8-mile banked oval. He beat runner up Ken Kaltschmidt by .150 of a second. Eddie McKean took third, Keith Spangler was fourth and Jim Pettit II finished fifth.

Zack Neissner won the Bud Pole Award with a run averaging 87.984 mph. Craig Raudman, who clinched the season championship a week earlier, was bidding to tie the Series single-season record for Bud Pole Awards. The record, nine, was set in 1995 by Lance Hooper, now a regular on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

The race was named in honor of a NASCAR official who passed away this year.
