(Woodstock, GA) Justin Wakefield registered his second top 10 finish of the season this past Saturday (June 28) at Kentucky Motor Speedway in Whitesville, KY for the Southern Pride 150 NASCAR Kodak Southeast Series sanctioned event. Wakefield rocketed his #98 Ford Taurus through the field by starting 18th and took the checkered flag in 8th place. This is Wakefield's second top-10 finish during the first five events of the 10 event schedule. Wakefield is currently 9th in NASCAR Kodak Southeast Series championship points chase.

Carswell Motorsports will be in action this Wednesday (July 2) at Ocala Speedway in Ocala, FL for the Victory Junction 150. Justin's visit to the 3/8 mile asphalt oval will be a welcome sight for the young rookie driver.

"Racing at Ocala Speedway is a lot closer to racing on dirt than the mile plus tracks the series visits this season," commented Justin. "I enjoy racing at the bigger tracks, but I can definitely put my dirt car experience to use on these short tight ovals," concluded Wakefield from his shop in his hometown of Woodstock, GA.

Carswell Motorsports is based out of Woodstock, GA and is owned by Jake Carswell of Woodstock, GA. The team efforts on race day are spearheaded by veteran driver, Jody Ridley, a six time former NASCAR All Pro champion and a NASCAR Winston Cup winner.
