(Woodstock, GA) Justin Wakefield will continue his rookie aspirations in NASCAR sanctioned competition this weekend as the talented Georgia native heads to Big Daddy's South Boston Speedway in South Boston, VA for the NASCAR Kodak Southeast Series Armed Forces 150 presented By Coors Light. This will be Wakefield's second event with the Kodak Series and his first time at South Boston Speedway.

"I had a blast running with those guys in the Kodak Series," comments Wakefield "These drivers have numerous seat time on these asphalt ovals and running against them is great for gaining experience. This season should gain us the acknowledgment that we want in achieving our goal. Jody Ridely will be with us all season long, and his knowledge and experience in this series alone will be a huge asset to our success," states Justin.

Wakefield's first event with the Kodak Series proved successful for Carswell Motorsports as Justin put together a respectable finish at Greensville-Pickens Speedway.

"We had a good time at Greensville-Pickens last month, and I was happy to finish the race and bring the car home in one piece for my first time in a asphalt competitive series like the Kodak Southeast Series," stated Wakefield "We practiced at Myrtle Beach before it got rained out, and I was only a few tenths off the lead cars, but we still need to get the car hooked up into the corners. Once we can get the car set-up to come together, then we will have some very strong runs in the 98 Carswell Motorsports Ford Taurus," commented Justin.

Justin's trip to Big Daddy's South Boston Speedway will be a thrill for the young driver as Justin will compete on the 4/10 mile asphalt oval where racing legends such as David Pearson, Dale Earnhardt, and Buddy Baker all have turned laps at the famous short track in Virginia.

"This will be a learning experience for us again this weekend as I have never been or seen Big Daddy's South Boston Speedway. From what I have heard, it is a racy track and I am very excited to race there," concludes Wakefield.
