Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series, NASCAR Touring: Former Series champion Gary Lewis slipped by Steve Hodge to take the lead with 23 laps remaining, then held on to win the George Morlan Plumbing 100 at Portland International Raceway in Portland, Ore.

Hodge, the Bud Pole winner, finished second. He was 8.374 seconds behind the winner. Hodge's pole-winning lap averaged 92.137 mph, setting a series record on the 1.95-mile road course. Joe Benedetti finished third, Chris Hart was fourth and Jeff Jefferson came in fifth.

Lewis led the most laps and won the Gatorade Front Runner Award. It was his second victory of the season. Kevin Hamlin leads the standings with 946 points. Benedetti is second with 896.
