Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series, NASCAR Touring: Kevin Hamlin took the lead for the final time 70 laps from the end and won the Charter Communications 125 at Wenatchee Valley's Super Oval. It was Hamlin's first victory of the season.

Hamlin averaged 61.275 mph for the 125-lap chase around the quarter-mile oval, setting a Series record in the process. The race was slowed by only one caution period, lasting six laps. Hamlin led the first three laps, lost the lead to Garrett Evans, then took the lead back on lap 55 and led the rest of the way.

The ageless Ron Eaton won the Bud Pole Award with a lap averaging 72.435 mph. Eaton finished second in the race, Gary Lewis took third, John Bender finished fourth and Troy Conrad came home fifth.

Eaton continues to lead the Series standings. He holds a 505-477 lead over Hamlin.
