LAS VEGAS - Visitors to Las Vegas Motor Speedway will find more than just racing this weekend. The 54th Annual Jaycee State Fair kicks off Thursday at The Strip. It will be the second straight year the event has been held at LVMS.

The fair will offer a wide variety of activities starting Thursday, Sept. 21 and running until Sunday, Sept. 24. A carnival, petting zoo, camel rides, numerous vendors and a wide variety of entertainment will be present to add to the fun-filled weekend. Main-stage entertainment will include Lyin Eyes on Thursday, Sweet Al Band on Friday, The Tories on Saturday and Louie, Louie on Sunday.

The fair will be open Thursday from 4-10 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from noon to midnight, and Sunday from noon to 10.

Fair admission is $6 for adults and $4 for children. Five and under are free. Admission for the carnival is $12 on Thursday, $15 on Friday and $17 on Saturday and Sunday. There is no charge for parking.
