LVMS announces penalties for four Bullring drivers

LAS VEGAS -- LVMS officials have penalized four drivers who compete in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as a result of incidents during Saturday night's event. IMCA Modified driver Wayne Morris Jr. and Charger drivers Tom Youmans, Jerry Jones and Joe Finger have all been assessed penalties.

Morris Jr. was fined $750 and given indefinite suspension from the Bullring for violating Rule 6-1.3 with three infractions, "conduct and actions detrimental to the betterment of the sport..." He can apply for re-instatement no earlier than July 1, 2005.

Youmans was fined $200 and given probation until Sept. 30 for violating Rule 6-1.3 with two infractions, "conduct and actions detrimental to the betterment of the sport..."

Jones was fined $100 and given probation until Aug. 30 for violating Rule 6-1.3 with one infraction, "conduct and actions detrimental to the betterment of the sport..."

Finger was fined $100 and given probation until Sept. 30 for violating Rule 6-1.3 with one infraction, "conduct and actions detrimental to the betterment of the sport..."
