FIELD: 28 Cars. Twenty-six starting positions will be determined through two laps of qualifying. Two additional positions will be available to any driver in the top 30 current 2000 Goody's Dash Series, NASCAR Touring Championship point standings who have not qualified for one of the original 26 positions, provided eligible driver attempts to qualify in qualifying events. Official point standings and not time trial speed will determine these positions.

EVENT REVIEW: Three-time Goody's Dash Series, NASCAR Touring Champion Robert Huffman dominated this event for the second straight year by leading all 125 laps. However five caution periods and a red flag condition kept the field close throughout the event. At the end Huffman was able to hold off Jake Hobgood for his fourth win in six starts in 1999.
