</pre> EVENT REVIEW: B. J. Mackey teamed up with veteran series car owner and driver Maxie Bush to win his second career series victory in the 1999 event. Mackey started third in the field and led twice to win the 125 lap event. The race produced seven cautions for 38 laps. Robert Huffman started at the point and was quickly challenged by Mackey on lap 10 when the Rock Hill, S. C. driver moved into the runner-up position. A multi-car incident in turn four involving nine cars produced the first caution on lap four which also resulted in a red-flag condition to remove all the debris. Mackey took the lead for the first time on lap-59 but a series of cautions kept the field in check. At the end a 12-lap dash to the finish saw Mackey hold off Huffman to preserve the win. Angie Wilson, in her first year with the series, had a strong race finishing third, a career best.
