Two additional positions are available to the top 30 car owners in the current Goody's Dash Series, NASCAR Touring car owner points.)

*B.J. Mackey won this event in 2000. Four out of the last five races at Greenville have been won by South Carolinians.

*Four MAG KLIP Rookie of the year contenders are in a tight points battle. Tim Nichols leads the MAG KLIP Rookie Points battle coming into this event. Nichols stated, "I cannot wait to get to Greenville-Pickens. It is one of my favorite tracks to run." Nichols made his first career start at the speedway in 1999 and finished in sixth place.

*Current Points Leader Cam Strader will be looking to get back on track after his worst finish of the season at Daytona International Speedway. Strader crashed on lap 47 and lost some ground to Roger Sawyer.
