CAISSE WINS BUSCH EAST RACE AT GREENVILLE-PICKENS

GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 10, 2006) -- Sean Caisse collected his first NASCAR Grand National Division, Busch East Series victory when he won the An American Revolution 150 at Greenville-Pickens Speedway.

The race included seven lead changes and Caisse didn't take the lead for the final time until he assumed the point on lap 142 of the 150-lap affair. He beat runner-up Brian Hoar by just over a quarter of a second.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the Grand National Division, which includes the AutoZone West Series. The tiremaker supplies reliable bias-ply racing slicks for the teams in the Division. Most races for the two series are held on oval tracks of about half a mile or less in length, but they also occasionally race on roads courses and super speedways. Goodyear's wealth of experience with heavy car stock car racing is unequaled among tiremakers and that stands Grand National competitors in good stead.

Mike Olsen, Matt Kobyluck and Bryon Chew rounded out the top five finishers. Caisse averaged 48.949 mph over the 150-lap distance. The race pace was slowed by a number of caution flags. Olsen won the Busch Pole Award with a qualifying lap averaging 86.709 mph around the slightly banked, half-mile oval and set a track record for the series.
