KOBYLUCK WINS BUSCH EAST RACE AT SOUTH BOSTON

SOUTH BOSTON, Va. (June 2, 2007) -- Matt Kobyluck won a long, furious struggle with Peyton Sellers today to win the South Boston 150 race for the NASCAR Grand National Division, Busch East Series. It was Kobyluck's first win of the 2007 Busch East season.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the Grand National Division, which also includes the NASCAR West Series. Goodyear provides bias-ply tires for the Grand National program.

Kobyluck started fourth and did not get the lead until the 21st lap, when he took the lead from Sellers to become the third leader of the race. The two drivers traded the lead between themselves 11 times over the remaining distance and Kobyluck's margin of victory over Sellers was less than half a second. Sean Caisse led the first three laps.

Joey Logano finished third, Marc Davis was forth and Rogelio Lopez took fifth.

Sellers won the Bud Pole Award with a lap averaging 92.414 mph around the 4/10-mile venue.

The field of 32 starters included drivers from 14 states and three nations.
