BRETT MOFFETT WINS PRO SERIES EAST RACE AT MARTINSVILLE

MARTINSVILLE, VA (June 7, 2010) -- Sometimes you make history first and sometimes you join a line of history makers. Brett Moffett accomplished the later when he won the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East UNOH Performance 200 at Martinsville Speedway, adding his name to the list of winners at the famed half-mile track.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for both the K&N Pro Series East and Pro Series West programs, as well as for the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. All three series were in action over the June 5/6 weekend and all three used the tire combination Goodyear provides for their short track races.

"We had three very different racing surfaces in those races," said Chad Fletcher, Goodyear's sales account manager for NASCAR touring series. "But the combination we supplied this weekend is very adaptable and the performance was excellent."

Ryan Truex finished second to Moffett. Darryl Wallace was third, followed by Matt Kobyluck and Andrew Ranger. Ranger, the 2009 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series champ, is expected to complete the entire Pro Series East schedule this season.

Ryan Gifford won the pole with a lap averaging 92.097 mph.
