CAISSE WINS INAUGURAL BUSCH EAST RACE AT MANSFIELD

MANSFIELD, Ohio (Aug. 26, 2007) --Sean Caisse beat everyone, including Mother Nature, when he captured the Mansfield 150 NASCAR Grand National Division, Busch East Series race at Mansfield Motorsports Park.

Caisse won for the third time this season in Busch East Series competition. As he celebrated with his teammates after the race, rain returned to the already waterlogged area.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the Grand National Division, which includes the West Series. The bias-ply tires that Goodyear manufactures for the Grand National Division give dependable performance and the same line of tires is supplied to the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.

Caisse led three times for 136 laps in the 150-lap chase around the half-mile venue. He averaged 61.433 mph in the race and won the Bud Pole Award with a lap averaging 109.170 mph. It was the first race for the Busch East Series at the Ohio facility, so records were established in every category.

Matt Kobyluck finished second, .495 of a second behind the winner. Championship standings leader Joey Logano finished third, followed by Jerry Marquis and Jeffrey Earnhardt.

There were 29 cars in the starting field. The drivers represented a dozen states and three nations.
