WALLACE WINS NASCAR EAST RACE AT GREENVILLE PICKENS

GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 29, 2010) -- Darrell Wallace Jr. gave NASCAR's Drive for Diversity its first victory in the K&N Pro East Series when he won the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 at Greenville Pickens Speedway.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the K&N Pro Series East and West series, as well as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. The same line of Goodyear Eagle bias-ply tires are supplied to all three series, allowing teams to race all over North America knowing they have experience with their tires.

The 16-year old Wallace is the youngest winner in series history and his win is the third overall for the Drive for Diversity. He led the race three times for a total of 22 laps. Rookie Andrew Smith finished second, followed by Jody Lavender, 17-year old Cole Whitt and Drive for Diversity member Ryan Gifford.

Ryan Truex, the defending series champion, led 127 laps but two late-race incidents took him out of contention. Whitt won the pole.
