STEVE PARKS IT IN ADIRONDACK'S VICTORY CIRCLE

LOWVILLE, N.Y. (Aug. 3, 2009) -- Steve Park wasn't in too big of a hurry.

True, he was racing to win the NASCAR Camping World Series East race at Adirondack International Speedway. Park just wasn't overly worried about when he took the lead.

Park, a veteran of NASCAR's highest levels of competition, finally snagged the lead with five laps remaining and won the Edge Hotel 150. It was his first victory in a Camping World Series East race since 1996.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire supplier for both the Camping World Series East and West series, as well as for the N ASCAR Canadian Tire Series. The three series represent the highest steps of the ladder in NASCAR's driver development program for some drivers. For other drivers, the Camping World Series and Canadian Tire Series are career capstones and Goodyear is with all the drivers every step of the way.

Park's margin of victory was .619 of a second over runnerup Ryan Truex. Jody Lavender finished third, followed by Jesus Hernandez and Matt Kobyluck. Eddie MacDonald won the pole with a lap in time trials that averaged 107.533 mph.

Truex leads the race for the series championship with 1,227 points. Lavender is next with 1,201.
