Daytona track President to get insight from fans visiting for Speedweeks Meet & Greet part of Fans "R" 1st @ Daytona initiative
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Jan. 28, 2004 - Daytona International Speedway President Robin Braig believes if you want to learn what's really going on, go directly to the source.
With that, following up on a successful Meet & Greet with fans in July, Braig will meet with several fans during Speedweeks 2004 to gain insight and knowledge in a hands-on effort to improve the race time experience for its thousands of guests that visit the "World Center of Racing" each year. The Meet & Greet's are part of a track-wide, comprehensive initiative called Fans "R" 1st @ Daytona
Building on the positive fan feedback from fans in town for July's Pepsi 400, the track-wide, comprehensive initiative launched in 2003 to enhance the experiences for guests visiting Daytona International Speedway, enters its second year with the same mission - ensuring that each guest who visits DIS has a positive and memorable experience.
"If it works, I want to know how we can make it even better," said Braig. "If it's broken, we're going to do our best to fix it. Our fans input is critical in keeping Daytona International Speedway the flagship of the motorsports industry."
Braig will meet with fans from New York, Ohio, West Virginia and Florida, to get feedback on those things important to race fans traveling to DIS events including, traffic patterns, free parking and shuttle information and guest information assistance centers.
