Jason Dickerson is disqualified from victory at SoBo following post-race inspection

SOUTH BOSTON, VA. -- South Boston Speedway officials announced Sunday that Jason Dickerson of Ruckersville, Va., the apparent first-place finisher in the 110-lap Barkhouser Late Model Stock Car Division race on Saturday night, had been disqualified following a post-race inspection.

Dickerson, who drives a Ford, was disqualified due to a problem with a cylinder head on his car's engine.

The disqualification of Dickerson elevated second-place finisher Wayne Ramsey of Amherst, Va. to the victory in the official rundown.

Drew Herring of Benson, N.C. finished second in the revised rundown and was followed in the top five by Justin Johnson of Roxboro, N.C. in third, Brandon Butler of Petersburg, Va. in fourth and David Triplett, Jr. of Durham, N.C. in fifth.

Rounding out the top 10 drivers in the revised rundown were Ronald Hill, Ryan Rhodes, Peyton Sellers, Terry King and Rodney Cook.
