*This will be the first time that the Goody's Dash Series, NASCAR Touring has competed at Daytona International Speedway twice in the same year.

*There has not been a repeat winner at Daytona since Larry Caudill won back to back events in 1987 and 1988. Caudill has three wins overall at Daytona. Caudill is currently 5th in the Series Championship Points.

*Robert Huffman is the most recent winner at a speedway event (Kentucky Speedway on June 16, 2001). Shane Hmiel won at Darlington Raceway and Cam Strader won at Lowes Motor Speedway. Justin Hobgood won the season opener at Daytona in February.

*The DAYTONA USA.com event will be 50 miles (20 laps) shorter than the February event. This will make pit stop strategy even more crucial.

*The February event produced 6 lead changes among 7 drivers, all of which took place in the first 60 laps of the event.
