Brad Leighton collected his second victory this season and the 19th of his career by winning the Pepsi Racing 150 at Thompson International Speedway in Thompson, Conn.

Goodyear is the only tire supplier for the Series and, for the eighth race this season, a driver cracked the Series qualifying record at a track. Martin Truex averaged 111.386 mph during his run around the .625-mile oval.

Tracy Gordon, who started 19th, finished second. He was .14 of a second behind the winner at the finish. Mike Johnson, Jamie Aube and Kelly Moore rounded out the top five finishers.

Leighton averaged 68.278 mph for the race. He is second in the championship standings, trailing only Moore, 1,365-1,352.
