Busch North Series, NASCAR Touring: Brad Leighton held off a determined charge by Andy Santerre to win the Busch 125 at New Hampshire International Speedway. Leighton's margin of victory was .021 of a second (about a foot).

The race was the second of the season for the Series, which races exclusively on Goodyear tires.

Santerre finished second, Kelly Moore was third, Dale Shaw was fourth and Matt Kobyluck came in fifth.

Leighton said,"I'd be surprised if you see anybody change tires in July (when the Busch North Series returns to NHIS) if they have a neutral car. They'll pit because (they'll need fuel), but they don't have to change tires."

Moore said the Goodyear Eagles the Series uses would help keep the popular Series the crowd pleaser it has always been.

"I think the tires worked real well," said Moore."I think it put on a lot better show for the fans, as far as being able to come in and pit and run real hard. I wasn't slip sliding around like on the other tires. I think the technology (of the cars) has kind of surpassed the tires (the Series had last year) and I think Goodyear will stay up with the technology from the different race tracks."
