GREENVILLE, SC (April 20, 2001)- Greenville's Donnie Bishop puts his winning streak of four on the line this Saturday at Greenville Pickens Speedway, but a last minute wild card entry could present an obstacle to Bishop's quest for a fifth straight Late Model trip to victory lane. Randy Porter, a former track champion and top contender for the 2000 track title, is scheduled to return to the track for a first appearance this season and could present Bishop with his toughest competition of the season.

In addition to the 35 lap Late Model feature event, additional racing action is scheduled for the Super Stocks, Street Stocks, and Charger divisions. General admission gates will open at 5pm, with qualifying at 6, and the first race set to go at 8pm. Adult general admission will be $10.00, with children under 12 admitted free with a paid adult. The Greenville Pickens Speedway is located at the intersection of highways 123 and 124 between Greenville and Easley. For more information, visit their website at www.greenvillepickens.com, or call the track office at (864)269-0852.
