CAISSE SETS RECORD, WINS SECOND STRAIGHT BUSCH EAST RACE

STAFFORD SPRINGS, Conn. (June 16, 2006) -- Sean Caisse won the TSI Harley Davidson 150 at Stafford Motor Speedway and used his second career victory to set his first NASCAR Grand National Division Busch East Series record.

Caisse became the first driver in the 20-season history of the series to win the first two races of a season. That's impressive for a guy who hadn't won a Busch East Series event before the start of the season. Other drivers have won three of the first four races in a season, but Caisse is the first to win the opening pair.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the Grand National Division. The Grand National Division includes the AutoZone West Series and the two circuits share a common rulebook and common tire pairings.

Matt Kobyluck finished second to Caisse at Stafford. The two drivers started on the front row and were the only leaders of the race. But they traded the lead eight times, bringing the Series' two-race total of lead changes to 15. Mike Olsen finished third at Stafford, followed by Dave Dion and Jody Lavender.

Caisse won the Busch Pole Award with a lap averaging 90.927 mph.
