KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 Z-Line Designs Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finished: 1st

How does it feel to win a fifth straight race here and add your name to the record books?

"That's cool man. I said the 'late' Sam Ard earlier this week, I meant great. He's a friend of mine. I can't believe it. Such a
great race car -- a great Z-Line Camry. Just a phenomenal day. We were able to just run around there all day and bide our time
and there at the end we were going to try and save fuel and go the rest of the way if need be. But, a caution come out and we
had to race Joey (Logano) for it. He kept me on my toes there. We were a little bit too loose to try to go real, real hard. I
couldn't get away from him. Then it seemed like he got a little bit tight and I started moving away."

Why are you and the No. 18 car so unbeatable at Texas?

"I don't know. It's a team effort. It's these guys -- all the guys at Joe Gibbs Racing -- the chassis guys, the body guys, the guys
in the engine shop and everybody makes this possible. Joey (Logano) had a great race car today. I'm proud of him he ended up
second -- I know he's probably upset. I would be too. We had a flawless race car so we had to make sure we got this one to
victory lane. I drove my guts out there at the end after I made a miscue on pit road. Fortunately, I was able to come back."

How do you feel after 800 miles of racing today?

"This makes it a lot easier to get out of the race car, I'll tell you that. To run in the 500-mile race earlier I was a little bit down, a little bit drained. Got some fluids in me before the start of this race and got some good food in me. Of course, my fiance Samantha (Sarcinella) made me up something great. So that was good. Helped me win here tonight right now."

Do you wish every race car was as good as yours was today?

"Yeah, you do -- we've been here five times and have won five times. It's pretty awesome to be with these guys, this team, Jason Ratcliff (crew chief) and all the guys at Z-Line Designs and NOS Energy Drink, and of course Toyota and all our partners. This is cool. To win five and be tied with Dale Earnhardt and Jack Ingram -- that's pretty cool. I wouldn't have it any other way. That's how we wanted to come out here and do this. You never know, maybe if we can come back in the spring and if we can have a great race car like that again and try to go for six."

What does it mean that Joe Gibbs racing won both races today?

"I wish we were two spots better (in the NSCS race) -- so it could have been the driver. The driver's done it before. I won two last year, I think it was Truck and Nationwide. I wish I could get a Cup and a Nationwide. We're working on it. We're getting a lot closer on that side (NSCS) -- Dave Rogers (NSCS crew chief) and those guys did a good job today. I'm real proud overall at how our Texas weekend went and hopefully this will carry on into Talladega."

Will you consider running for the NNS championship this year since you currently lead the points?

"I'd like to, but we know how difficult it is to run both and what it takes away from the premium spot, which is the Sprint Cup Series title. I don't want to take anything away from those guys. The summer months get tough. When you have the companion races, I don't think it does anything. But, when you go from Sonoma (Calif.) to the new road course race in Wisconsin, you are going to have to skip all of Saturday in Sonoma to be there for that event in the Nationwide Series. You really hinder your chances to get a good race car setup for the race that's going to be on Sunday out in Sonoma. That's the biggest thing that I look at, all the other ones aren't too bad. Maybe we skip one and can still win the deal, I don't know."

JASON RATCLIFF, crew chief, No. 18 Z-Line Designs Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

What was your view of today's race?

"At times it was a little nerve-wracking. We showed up here with a similar setup with what we've raced here the last four races and Goodyear brought a different tire here. Off the truck I didn't feel like I had the speed or the car that we needed to win the race and the guys did a great job of making a lot of adjustments during practice and before the race. We knew we had a fast car if we could keep it up front. Like Kyle (Busch) was saying, clean air seemed to be definitely what you needed. Made some good adjustments all day. The 20 (Joey Logano) car was giving us a fit there a couple times. It was a good day for us and we're just thankful for the opportunity to be able to come out and do five in a row -- that's a big accomplishment for this race team and for Kyle (Busch). That means a lot."

JOE GIBBS, owner, No. 18 Z-Line Designs Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

What do you think of the performance today by your race team?

"We're really thrilled. The thing that I'd like to emphasize is how long it took to get the program to where it is right now. We feel really fortunate to have the drivers we have and the crew chiefs, for instance Jason (Ratcliff) here doing the job he's done. It took us a long time to get here in this series. It's extremely tough, hard so we're going to cherish each one of these. We have great young drivers and we have the crew chief and all the organization back at the shop. We're really thrilled."
