Fort Worth, Texas (April 5, 2009) -- Completing the O'Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway with an impressive 11th place finish, Michael Annett leaves the Lone Star State with his best career finish in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

One of only 14 drivers to finish the race on the lead lap, Annett gained 21 spots in the O'Reilly 300 to finish 11th. The rookie driver was one of only two non-Sprint Cup Series drivers in the top 12. The 22 year old broke the top 12 in only his sixth NASCAR Nationwide Series start, and as a result of Saturday's finish moved up six spots in the NNS points race to 16th in driver standings.

"The No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers/HYPE Energy Drinks team is really pleased with our great finish today. A lot of things that have been out of our control have contributed to some disappointing results this season, today's finish in the O'Reilly 300 should give us some much needed momentum in the long season ahead," remarked an enthusiastic Annett following the race.

The No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers/HYPE Energy Drinks crew chief Bruce Cook commented, "Michael did a great job today proving his talent. This is exactly what the Germain Racing team needed to boost our confidence for the rest of the season."

Annett noted, "The Germain Racing team learned a lot from today's good finish, and I appreciate all the hard working from my team today and this season. I look forward to the race at Nashville next weekend and building on our success from today."

Next weekend the No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers/HYPE Energy Drinks team will visit Nashville Superspeedway for one of four Nationwide Series non-companion events.
