* LEFFLER LEADING NNS REGULARS IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP POINT STANDINGS

Leffler currently sits fourth in the NNS point standings, leading all Nationwide Series regulars. His second place finish last weekend at Phoenix moved him within 17 points of third place.

* LEFFLER'S NATIONWIDE SERIES TALLADEGA HIGHLIGHTS

Leffler has five NNS starts at Talladega with two top-five finishes and three top-10 starts. His best performance came one year ago, when he started third and finished fourth after leading seven laps.

* LEFFLER RESTRICTOR PLATE RACE HIGHLIGHTS

Out of a total of 16 NNS restrictor plate races, Leffler has two top-five and six top-10 finishes. Additionally, he has started within the top-10 on 10 occasions, including starting from the pole at Daytona in July, 2007. Another impressive stat -- Leffler has no DNF's to his credit in any of those 16 races.

LEFFLER ON RACING AT TALLADEGA:

"The restrictor plate races are a lot of fun but it's definitely not something I would want to do every weekend. Only having three a year makes for a pretty good challenge. During practice, you really want to spend some time figuring out what your car will do and where; whether you're in the middle, on the inside or on the outside. You put that information in the back of your mind for the race. It's a type of racing where you have to be pretty aggressive, but at the same time, you have to be cautious, especially early on. You don't want to be the guy that causes the 20-car pile-up, 15 laps into the race. On the other hand, when you get to the end of the race it's pretty much a wide-open free-for-all and you have to take chances."

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION

The No. 38 Great Clips team will unload chassis # 004 in this weekend's Aaron's 312 at Talladega. This is the same chassis Leffler has run in the last five Nationwide Series restrictor-plate races. In five starts in this chassis, Leffler has started inside the top-five four times (including the pole in July, 2007) and has one top-five finish (4th at Talladega last season).
