Leffler on the final race Nationwide Series race at Gateway International Raceway

"It is bittersweet going to Gateway this weekend knowing it is our last race there. I really enjoy racing at this track because it is such a challenging place to get around. You have two very different corners so you really have to work to find the right balance. It's not going to be perfect on both ends of the track so you have to give and take a little bit. One of the biggest keys is getting a good run off of turns one and two so you have a lot of momentum down the backstretch. That's what we'll be working on throughout both of Friday's practice sessions. I have had a lot of good memories at this track, dating back to my days in open-wheel racing, and it would be a big honor to go out and win the last Nationwide Series race there."

Equipment Information

The No. 38 Great Clips team will unload chassis #025 in this weekend's 5-Hour Energy 250. Leffler has driven this chassis to two top-five and three top-10 finishes this season, including a third-place at Iowa Speedway in July, a second-place at Bristol Motor Speedway in August and an eighth-place finish at Dover International Speedway in September.
