David Ragan on racing in the Nationwide Series at Richmond International Raceway:
"I am excited to run under the lights at Richmond. The atmosphere will be very fun, and I know the Discount Tire team will be prepared for anything this weekend. The key to success at Richmond is a good qualifying effort. If we can stay up front from the outset I think we can have a very solid run. Our Ford Fusion will be fast, we just have to take care of business on and off pit road. We need a good run to get back in the hunt for a championship."
Crew Chief Mike Kelley on racing at Richmond International Raceway:
"We had a rough weekend in Talladega. I think we all need to regroup and put that in the past. Richmond is a tough short track that will be a challenge for us. Luckily, David has some experience there and he knows how to get around the race track. Our short track program is solid and our Discount Tire Ford Fusion is proven. We are bringing our top-five car from Phoenix to Richmond, so I can assure you we will do everything we can to duplicate that performance."
Matt Kenseth on racing at Richmond International Raceway:
"Richmond is one of my favorite tracks. We usually run pretty well there in the Nationwide car. I've won a Cup race at Richmond but I haven't won a Nationwide race yet. We came really close last year but came up short. I'm excited to get back there this weekend. It's great to have CitiFinancial on the car for the first time this year. They're a great sponsor and we're going to do everything we can to get them their first win of the year."
Crew Chief Drew Blickensderfer on racing at Richmond International Raceway:
"Short tracks are definitely a strong point for Matt and he has the record to prove that at Richmond. We tested at RIR a few weeks ago and it went really well. Matt's been in our car twice this year and we've won once, so hopefully we can make it two out of three this weekend."
Edwards on racing at Richmond International Raceway:
"I don't like waiting around for the night race. That's what kills me, but once we get started, it's one of the best races of the year. Richmond under the lights is always spectacular and makes for some exciting racing. A few years ago I had one of my most exciting finishes, beating and banging with Elliott Sadler for a very close victory. We have Save-A-Lot back on the car this weekend and we've had some rough races for them. There's nothing I'd like more than getting them into Victory Lane."
Crew Chief Pierre Kuettel (P.K.) on racing at Richmond International Raceway:
"We look forward to taking our Save-A-Lot Ford Fusion to Richmond International Raceway. We had a decent run at Phoenix with this chassis and hope to improve on that. We tested well here in March, so I am expecting to be up front at the end of the race. If I was a betting man I would take Carl Edwards to win any time under the lights at Richmond."
