ALEX KENNEDY ON PHOENIX INT'L RACEWAY

"I'm looking forward to this weekend's race at Phoenix. It's not too far of a drive from New Mexico, so I have a lot of friends and family that will be at the race. I've never been on the track before, so I'll use the first practice to get comfortable with the feel of the car and how the track drives. Everyone I have talked to says that it is a very difficult track, so I plan to talk to some of the drivers I know in the garage to see if they have any pointers they can give a rookie. I'm looking forward to putting last week behind me and bringing home a solid finish for Baker Curb Racing in Phoenix!"

CREW CHIEF JOHN REESE ON PHOENIX INT'L RACEWAY

"Phoenix is a track that our team has been very successful at in the past. We finished fifth in the spring race with Greg Biffle in the No. 27 and Scott Lagasse Jr. finished eighth in the No. 43. It is a very unique track, turns 1 and 2 are very tight, turns 3 and 4 are sweeping and the backstretch has a dogleg. You have to run as loose as you possibly can in Turns 1 and 2 to be good in Turns 3 and 4. We look forward to rebounding from a tough weekend at Texas with a good run at Phoenix!"
