New Xfinity team to debut at Talladega

A new team plans to make their debut at Talladega.

A new team is looking to be baptized by fire, making their NASCAR Xfinity debut at Talladega Superspeedway. The team, called Deese Racing Enterprises, has been issued the No. 35 by NASCAR and will bring a Chevrolet Camaro for the May race.

Deese is based in Morresville, North Carolina. No driver has been revealed yet as the team finalizes their plans for the race. On their official site, you can read their mission statement.

"Deese Racing Enterprises and the Green Motorsports Initiative was formed to create the first comprehensive environmentally friendly NASCAR team. The goal is to bring environmental awareness not only to the participants but also, more importantly to 75 million brand-loyal NASCAR fans through the promotion and sale of green products and services."
