BRAD COLEMAN, No. 18 Safeway Driving Center Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs
Finishing Position: 6th
How was your race tonight? "It was an eventful night. Our car is not clean. I went three-wide with the 66 (Steve Wallace), but he decided that he wanted to be two-wide. I had a blast. It felt really good to get in the mix of things and run top-five, top-10 all night. Made a boo-boo because it was my first race in 10 months - I tried stopping in the 20 pit because that's where I was last year. Luckily, it was two behind it. What a great night for the Safeway Driving Camry. I just have to get used to driving it looser. I'm so thrilled. I really wish we would have had that top-five. I worked my butt off to get it. I was working so hard. I told the guys, we were in a similar situation at Iowa last year. I got under somebody for 10 laps and finally I decided I was going to drive it in there and beat them and I wrecked us both. I wasn't going to do that. Sixth is way better than being on the truck."
REED SORENSON, No. 32 Dollar General Toyota Camry, Braun Racing
Finishing Position: 7th
How was your race tonight? "We were really excited to come back to Nashville with this being the headquarters for Dollar General and having so many great guests here tonight. We had such a great race here in April that we were really looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately we battled a loose condition most of the night and couldn't get there in the end. The guys worked hard and had some good pit stops throughout the race. We will head to Kentucky next week with lessons we will take from tonight and see if we can't improve our finishing position."
STEVE WALLACE, No. 66 5-hour Energy Toyota Camry, Rusty Wallace Racing
Finishing Position: 8th
MATT DIBENEDETTO, No. 20 Muscle Milk Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing Position: 10th
"It was a real good night, it went smooth. I'm really happy with a 10th place finish because going into the race I said I wanted to finish with no damage - I did that. I said I wanted to finish on the lead lap - I did that. I said I wanted to get a top-10 and we did all three of them and that's exactly what I was shooting for, no more, no less. The best thing I could do is bring the car back in one piece to the shop and that is the more impressive thing. I learned a lot and will apply it to my next outing. I'm sure if Joey (Logano) was in the car, he could have gone faster, but I was learning a lot. I'm pretty happy with our day, the pit crew and it was great working with my crew chief, Kevin Kidd, they all did a good job."
What were you able to learn in tonight's race? "I learned about as much as I did in my first Nationwide race. I've never been on an intermediate race track before so I learned a lot of the aero-tight, aero-loose and all of that stuff. I took the race pretty cautious. Next time I will be a little more aggressive. I didn't want to wreck anybody. I wanted to earn the respect of everybody I was racing with - that's the main thing and I think I did that. I didn't have any run-ins with anyone and had a good, smooth day."
TAYLER MALSAM, No. 10 Share Lodge / Dollar General Toyota Camry, Braun
Finishing Position: 11th
BRENDAN GAUGHAN, No. 62 South Point Casino & Hotel Toyota Camry,
Rusty Wallace Racing
Finishing Position: 13th
How was your car in tonight's race? "On that last pit stop we pitted and we got a left-rear flat. The South Point Toyota ran great tonight. This team needs more than moral victories, we need to have some victories. I didn't think we were good enough to beat the 22 (Brad Keselowski) or the 60 (Carl Edwards) tonight, but I was in front of the 98 (Paul Menard) all night so we should've had at top-five with our Toyota. One of those deals. How about that Willie Allen? Coming from two laps down. I've got to talk some good about Willie Allen. I'm proud of that kid coming from two laps down on a team with no budget. Way to go boys!"
MICHAEL ANNETT, No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers Toyota Camry, Germain
Finishing Position: 14th
BRIAN SCOTT, No. 11 Dollar General Toyota Camry, Braun Racing
Finishing Position: 28th
TREVOR BAYNE, No. 99 Out Pet Care Toyota Camry, Diamond-Waltrip Racing
Finishing Position: 32nd
What happened that took you out of the race? "It stinks that we tore up another race car. It seems like that's what happens to us every week. We have fast race cars - we just need to start finishing these things. I hate it for our sponsors - Out Pet Care and everybody. There was nothing we could do about it. We were coming out of turn four, two guys got checked up in front of us, we got under them and (Justin) Allgaier decided he had another run and wanted to pass all four of us at one time. It stinks for us because they are still out there racing and we're in here with a torn up race car. We'll come back and get them. We have a strong race team and I think we're coming up right now and we just need to finish the races the way we're running."
JASON LEFFLER, No. 38 Great Clips Toyota Camry, Braun Racing
Finishing Position: 34th
What happened that took you out of the race? "The rear main seal is leaking and it's just a ton of work to get it fixed. It's a shame. The Great Clips Camry was really good. The guys gave me a great car off the trailer. The alternator went bad early in the race when we were running third and then we got caught out in that pit road deal with the yellow. Then this happened. It's a shame and it just wasn't our night. We'll go get them next week."
