How did you team up with Michael Waltrip Racing? "I've been waiting to get in a Nationwide car for a long time and this deal is finally coming together. I've been working with Ty Norris (MWR general manager) and all the people at Michael Waltrip Racing. I've been able to go to the last couple of races and been around the guys and they've got great chemistry -- an awesome group of guys. I think they said the guy that has been here the least has been on the team three years, so they've been working together for a long time. I'm looking forward to going to the track with them and actually sitting in the seat. I can't wait to get to Nashville. It's my first time actually racing there, but I've been there to watch and I'm really pumped up to go."
What has impressed you about Michael Waltrip Racing? "The biggest thing that has impressed me about this team is how close they are off the trailer. They make just a couple minor changes and the car is really quick. They are very consistent. Watching at Dover and Charlotte, they are consistent every lap throughout the race. They keep their cool really well. They just keep fighting and that's pretty important in this sport to keep your cool and just keep digging no matter what's going on."
