Colin Braun, driver of the No. 16 CitiFinancial Ford Fusion qualified ninth for today's Pepsi 300 at Nashville Superspeedway. This marks the second career NASCAR Nationwide Series start for the youngster who drives the No. 6 Con-way Freight Ford F-150 full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

"It was a good couple of laps. That 16 CitiFinancial Ford Fusion was pretty good yesterday in practice. Eddie Pardue [crew chief] went back and worked on it quite a bit over the night and I think we came out with a pretty good car. Obviously for qualifying it was a good effort for everybody. I felt like we might have left a little bit on the table there but since we had to qualify on time, we definitely needed to be safe and make sure we got in the race. It was definitely a good run and I'm looking forward to the race. It's going to be a lot of fun."

HOW IS YOUR COMFORT LEVEL IN THE FUSION? "I'm getting more and more comfortable every lap. For me it's the first time racing on concrete and the second time in a Fusion. It takes a little bit to get used to, but I'm getting more and more comfortable and I'm sure by the time we get to the end of the race we'll be in good shape. It should fun later today."
