SEASON STATS - In 18 starts this season, Braun has amassed four top-10s and eight top-15 finishes and has led one lap. His highest qualifying effort (second) and highest finish (seventh) were both tallied at Gateway International Speedway in July.
BRAUN AT MONTREAL - In his only start at Montreal last season, Braun qualified 11th and finished 40th after logging only two laps due to parts failure. In four career Nationwide Series starts at road courses, Braun has one pole which came at Mexico City in 2008. This season, Braun scored an 11th-place finish after starting third in the series' first trip to Road America.
MONTREAL CHASSIS SELECTION - Crew chief Rick Viers has selected RK-339 for this weekend's NAPA Auto Parts 200 at Circuit Gilles Villenueve. This car was raced by Greg Biffle last season at Watkins Glen where he qualified eighth and finished seventh.
Braun, on returning to Montreal:
"I really enjoy going up to Montreal and am excited to get back in the car and on track this weekend. We had a strong car here last year, but the day was cut short due to circumstances outside of our control. I believe that we have another strong 3M Ford this weekend and I'm looking for Montreal to be an opportunity for this team to shine. I'm excited to have 3M on board again and I want to bring home a good finish for them and this team."
Crew chief Rick Viers, on going to Montreal with Braun:
"The No. 16 3M team is really looking forward to getting to Montreal for our final road course race of the season. Colin [Braun] has done well in both practice and qualifying on the road courses this year. We are confident that our team will be very competitive again this weekend."
