Tough luck spoils perfect weekend for Coleman; Qualified outside pole and lead 35 laps at Milwaukee Mile

Charlotte, NC (June 22, 2009) - Starting on the outside pole and leading 35 laps wasn't enough for Brad Coleman and the No. 20 Rudys.com Toyota Camry Saturday night in Milwaukee. They wanted the win and felt like it was within their reach until a series of misfortunes turned a strong run into a 24th place finish.

After running the fastest times in practice, qualifying second, and leading the race through the first part of the evening, Coleman felt like he was on his way to his first NASCAR victory. His night ultimately ended on lap 206 when the No. 38 lifted up the back of the Rudys.com car and sent him spiraling into the wall in turn four.

"We had a very strong race weekend going and I genuinely believed we could win the thing," stated Coleman. "The Joe Gibbs Racing crew on the No. 20 Rudys.com Toyota gave me a great car and we just had a few unfortunate events, most of which were beyond our control. We will continue to work hard toward our goal and achieve it together soon."

Coleman's next race is at Gateway International Raceway in St. Louis on July 18.
