* Second Start For the NNS New Car... The CARFAX 250 at Michigan International Speedway marks the second race for the NASCAR Nationwide Series new car. The first new car event came at Daytona in July where Malsam started 25th and finished 18th.

* Momentum From the Glen... The No. 10 team is hoping to carry the momentum from their 12th-place finish at Watkins Glen International last weekend over to MIS. The Glen marked Malsam second best career finish, and his best finish since his NNS debut at Nashville Superspeedway in June (11th).

* Did You Know...Malsam is Involved with the Joshua P. Williams Foundation... The Joshua P. Williams Foundation is a charity that honors the memory of Joshua Williams, the brother of one of Malsam's close friends, who passed away in a snowboarding accident. The foundation gives money to youth charities in the Seattle, Washington area. Malsam recently returned home to Seattle to play in the foundation's annual golf tournament where the NNS rookie realized he should not abandon his career as a racecar driver to go out for the tour!

Malsam on MIS and the new car

"Michigan should be a really good race. We have one race in the new car under our belts, and after the long day of practice on Thursday we will all be more comfortable. The new cars drive so much differently than the current cars, and the aero package is so different it should make for a whole new race at Michigan," said Malsam. "It's also really cool that the track has committed to making the race carbon-neutral. Going green is such a big part of life today, and it's great to see NASCAR doing its part to help our environment."

The No. 10 Iron Horse Jeans team will hit the track with chassis #BR107 this weekend at Michigan. BR107 the second newly build Nationwide Series 'new car' chassis the No. 10 team has raced this year.
