GREG BIFFLE -- No. 16 citifinancial Ford Fusion (Finished 2nd)

"It was a good run for the citifinancial group. I had really, really good pit stops, which helped me, because my car wasn't that fast on restarts. It's kind of funny, I don't understand how they're beating us so bad on the restarts, but their cars just get up to speed a lot quicker than ours do. That's kind of what happened on that last restart. They can just out accelerate me getting up to speed. I held it flat across one and two and they beat me pretty good there. I tried the top down there so I didn't have to lift and Mark's car just motored across the bottom really fast. After about four or five laps, when I had to lift on the throttle, I could run them down. I just about had him passed there when the caution came out, but I was pretty excited about that run. This is a really fast car race. It runs really good and I'm pretty happy overall with our run."

ARE YOU PROUD CARL HANDLED THINGS THE WAY HE DID AFTERWARDS?

"Yeah, I didn't hear what he said. I saw what happened. It looked like Carl just wasn't getting down the straightaway like he needed to and the 5 had a good run and got up behind him and just touched him. It's easy to forget -- Clint and I were just talking about it -- how far the back of the car is up in the air and how low the noses are on the car behind it. It's not the new car, so you can't really even touch a person and you're gonna lift their tires off the ground. I'm sure Mark didn't mean to do it or may have meant to nudge him or something, but he certainly didn't mean to spin him out. I imagine he meant to let him know he was there and get going or get out of the way, one of the two, but he certainly didn't mean to spin him out."
