Kyle Busch takes third in KBM Toyota at Texas

Camry driver Kyle Busch drove his Kyle Busch Motorsports No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota Camry to a third-place finish in Saturday night's NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Texas Motor Speedway.

Busch started from the pole and led the field three times for 65 laps (of 200).

How much fun did you have in tonight's race? "We had a really good car, just man saw it in practice the 33 (Kevin Harvick) was just stellar. The guys worked really, really hard -- can't say enough about them. We had a great run tonight. A solid run -- a top-five all night. Wish we could have come home second. But, if I had a nickel for every second or third-place finish I've gotten this year - I'd be a rich man. Can't say enough about Monster Energy, Toyota, M&M's -- all of our partners here at KBM. Give a shout out to Ryan Blaney man -- that kid drove his butt off there at the end. Did a really, really nice job. I think he's shown that all year long, but he keeps doing it week-in and week-out."

Is there anything from the two races thus far this weekend that will help you tomorrow afternoon? "Yeah, seeing kind of where the groove goes and what happens during the runs I think will definitely kind of help us out a little bit and moving our car around and knowing what we got it set-up for. It seemed like the last two nights the later into the night it just kept getting looser."

What happened on the track with Austin Dillon? "I was three-wide on the inside and you've got to give room. I believe he (Austin Dillon) got wrecked at Bristol a couple times because he crowds really, really bad. That's part of it. If you're going to pinch, you're going to pay. He crowded me and I ran all the way to the apron to keep from getting into him and eventually I have to get back on the race track. It got him out of place and he finished better than he should have anyway. I don't know why he was upset. After the checkered flag he runs into me -- I don't know if he feels entitled by the number on his door to think he's tough. If he's going to start it, I'm going to finish it."

Did the four tire pit stop late in the race get you the fifth-place finish? "It was the only opportunity we had to try to get a good finish was to get on a different sequence with those guys. We made the best of it. We definitely didn't have a fifth-place car, but we made something of it."

Did you talk with Austin Dillon after the race? "No, he won't come over to me."

KENNY WALLACE, No. 99 Toyota Camry, RAB Racing w/Brack Maggard Finishing Position: 15th

How was the race? "It started out good and we got up to eighth or ninth and we ran solid. Then we started to get really loose. We made three stops and never got it tightened up. Then we made one last ditch swing at it there at the end and made it too tight. It was a little disappointing, but no excuse. It's a little hard when you are getting in and out of the car every month or two. I guess I should have called for less of an adjustment, but still it was a good, competitive run."
