David Ragan No.6 Discount Tire Ford Fusion
"We rebounded nicely with a top five in Nashville last weekend, but we are looking to improve on that this weekend in Kentucky. I cannot say enough about our Discount Tire crew. Those guys have been very consistent all year. Our equipment has been good and our race strategy has been sound. We just have to get over the hump and get into victory lane. I know everyone on this team wants to win in the worst way, but we have to stay focused and take it one race at a time. I am positive our team will be in victory lane in the near future."
Crew chief Mike Kelley on racing at Kentucky:
"David gets his second career Nationwide series start at Kentucky this weekend. I feel confident we will improve on our top-10 run from a year ago. Our Discount Tire team has matured a lot since then and we are more confident this time around. I believe that if we prepare a good race car for David the sky is the limit for him. He has become a consistent driver that is always a threat to run in the top five and challenge for a win. I hope we can continue our good fortune and run well under the lights in Kentucky."
Carl Edwards No.60 CitiFinancial Ford Fusion
"I am looking forward to our second non-companion race weekend. We have CitiFinancial on board and Kentucky is a great track. We always have great racing there. We struggled last week in Nashville and I believe Kentucky is a track where we can step it up and get back into the hunt. I've had success there and would love to give CitiFinancial a great run."
Crew chief Pierre Kuettel (P.K.) on racing at Kentucky Speedway: "The No.60 CitiFinancial team is looking for a good run this weekend. We struggled last week in Nashville, but it is time to right the ship. I am sure Carl is eager to get back to victory lane in the Nationwide Series. As long as we are prepared as soon as we unload on Friday, good things will happen for this team. We expect nothing less than a trip back to victory lane this weekend."
