KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 NOS Energy Drink Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing Position: 2nd

How did the race unfold for you today?

"We had a great race car and we came home second today. The NOS Energy Drink Camry was good. The guys did a great job working on it all weekend long and made it the best car out there all day. Unfortunately, I got beat by another driver. It just wasn't meant to be. It wasn't our day today, I guess. Unfortunately, we're sitting here talking about a second-place finish."

Were enough adjustments made on your race car during the final pit stop?

"Yeah. We adjusted the car. Actually, I was too loose. I almost spun out underneath Brian Vickers when Greg Biffle was behind me -- I should have wrecked. But, (I) held on to it. I guess since I should have wrecked there, I wasn't meant to win today. It kind of balances out, I guess."

What did you see and feel during those last few laps?

"I knew he (Joey Logano) had started working the top side in order to start getting some momentum built up and he was better up there. I didn't feel like I needed to go up there. I felt like I was strong on the bottom. I ran the bottom all day long and felt like I could hold him off. But, he got a good run through (turns) three and four and got to my outside before I could shut the door on him. He got by me -- as soon as he built the plane (draft), it's over."

Did you see any problems with the seams on the track?

"I didn't see any problems with the seams. They were fine to me. This place has always been bad for that, even five years ago it was bad with that. I've recognized to try not to run on any seams and run in between them. I don't have any problems because I don't run over them that much."

How frustrating is it to dominate the race and not win?

"It's pretty self explanatory -- you just said it yourself -- it is frustrating. We had a great race car today. We were good in the points. I've only done that about 12 times this year, so it ain't the first time and it certainly ain't going to be the last time. We're looking for wins. I'd love to break that win record, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen this year. I'm running out of races. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait another year -- maybe when I'm not racing for points and can go for broke instead of having to bide my time and keep my car underneath me and not race too hard at the end."

Do you care about the reaction you receive from the fans?

"I don't like to lose, so I'll show my disappointment as I show it. I am who I am and everybody else is who they are. So, if everybody worries about who they are, then life will be better."
