DREW HERRING ON KANSAS
"I'm looking forward to being behind the wheel of the No. 27 Getloaded Ford Fusion again this weekend. It's a lot easier getting right back in the car than having to wait a month for the next race. We had a tough weekend in Dover and I'm looking forward to putting the bad luck behind us. Kansas is another track that I've never seen before, but I know the guys will prepare a fast car and make my job of getting comfortable and acclimated to the track easy. I really enjoy driving for Baker Curb Racing. All of their employees have helped make my transition to the Nationwide Series go smooth and they've really made me feel like I belong at this level. I look forward to getting on the track in Kansas, having a solid weekend and getting the finish we are capable of!"
CREW CHIEF JOHN REESE ON KANSAS
"I feel like we've really improved our mile and a half program this season. I'm looking forward to having Drew Herring in the car this weekend at Kansas Speedway. In his first two starts he really has shown that he has a lot of talent. He also has shown that he has great composure. We had a tough weekend at Dover, but he kept his head held high and didn't let it phase him. There are a lot of ups and downs in racing and many young drivers let it wear on them emotionally. I expect Drew to bounce back this week and have a strong run. We are taking car 86, which is our newest car and has two top 10-finishes in three races this season. We're ready to put last weekend behind us and get back moving in the right direction!"
