CHINA GROVE, N.C. (July 20, 2010) -- Robert Richardson, Jr. will climb behind the wheel of the No. 23 Chevrolet at O'Reilly Raceway Park this Saturday with one mission on his mind -- survive the race.

With it being a .686-mile oval with only 7.5 degrees of banking in the turns and concrete barriers on both sides of the tight frontstretch, surviving is all any driver is looking to do on Saturday night. Last week's finish was a wild one at Gateway International Raceway, so with ORP being a smaller track look for even more bumper bumpin' and fender bangin' thrills for this race.

Car Facts: Steve Plattenberger and team are taking chassis No. 37 to ORP this weekend. The car was run two other times this year, both by Coleman Pressley. The first was at Bristol Motor Speedway and the second at Richmond International Raceway. During the Bristol race, Pressley was running 15th when contact with another car knocked him out of contention. For the Richmond race, Pressley started 30th and finished 15th.

Robert Richardson, Jr.:

First time back at ORP in awhile: "Yeah, thanks for reminding me. (Laughs) This is short track racing at its finest. We'll be beating, banging and leaning on each other through the turns fighting for track position. The fans literally sit on a hill right outside the turns and they certainly get their money's worth for this race. We're racing under the lights for the fourth-consecutive time, and I always love doing that because the drivers and fans both get into it more, it seems.

What's your game plan: "To get reacquainted with the track, learn as much as I can during the two practices and get our car set up just right for the race. From there, I'm going to do all I can to keep the car in one piece and get a good finish. We're racing for as many Owner's Points as we can get right now. So, that's my plan for this weekend at ORP."
