Scott will make his first NASCAR Nationwide Series start at O'Reilly Raceway Park (ORP).

Scott currently leads Raybestos Rookie of the Year Standings by 23 points (188-165) over Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Scott talks O'Reilly Raceway Park

"Indy is obviously a great racing town, and there's something special in the air when you get there. O'Reilly Raceway Park is a great little racetrack that is really fun to drive. Because the progressive banking is steeper up high, the preferred line is a combination of low and high grooves. It makes it very difficult to pass if you get inside a guy and keep having to pinch the car down. Braun has had some success there in the past, so hopefully we can continue it this weekend in the AccuDoc Solutions Camry."

Scott on Rookie of the Year goals

"It was definitely a goal, that we defined at the beginning of the season, to aggressively go after the Raybestos Rookie of the Year title. So far we are just accomplishing our goal with solid runs and decent finishes. We are fortunate to have a little bit of a lead in the standings right now which lets us know that even if we slip up a little, we have a cushion of all the good runs to fall back on. I feel like once we get to the later part of the season things will really start shaping up. Hopefully we can continue to keep bringing competitive AccuDoc Solution Camrys to the racetrack and I can keep posting good numbers so it will be pretty smooth sailing."

Scott on Nationwide Insurance Golf Tour Pro-Am

"Nationwide Insurance has obviously done a lot for our sport, but their reach is far beyond just racing. I jumped at the opportunity to play in the Nationwide Children's Hospital Pro-Am this past Monday. Golf is always something I enjoyed and being my high school's golf team captain, I always thought I was decent at. Being on the course with some real professionals gave me a great opportunity to learn some things and just spend time with some great people from Nationwide who give us the opportunity to race for a living."

Equipment Information

The No. 11 AccuDoc Solutions team is bringing chassis No. BR42 for this weekend's Kroger 200. BR42 was used in last week's Missouri- Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 where it started and finished 6th.
