Elliot Sadler excited to head to Texas

SADDLE UP AND HOLD ON: Elliott Sadler and the No. 11 OneMain Financial team look forward to the sixth race of the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series season at Texas Motor Speedway. In 12 Nationwide Series starts at Texas, Sadler has three top-five and six top-10 finishes with 40 laps led. Sadler has also won the pole position at this 1.5-mile track in 1998 and 2011. In addition, the veteran driver has 19 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Texas, with one win in 2004, a pole award in 2010, a top-five and three top-10 finishes.

JUST THE STATS: Five races into the 2014 season, Sadler currently sits fifth in the Nationwide Series driver champion points standings, 11 points back from the lead.

RACE INFO: The O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway will be on ESPN2 at 8:30 p.m. ET, on Friday, April 4th, as well as PRN and SIRIUSXM 90.

THINK PINK: The OneMain Financial driver will sport pink Oakley driving shoes throughout the entire Nationwide Series season to show support for breast cancer awareness and honor his mom, Bell. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007, and is now a survivor.
