LAGASSE JR. REGISTERS FIRST CAREER TOP-20 FINISH AT DOVER

DOVER, Del. (May 16, 2010) -- Scott Lagasse Jr. battled a free race car in the early stages of the Heluva Good! 200 at Dover International Speedway on Saturday, but the Baker Curb Racing crew made several adjustments throughout the race allowing the No. 43 American Red Cross Ford Fusion to come across the finish line in the 19th position. The top-20 finish at "The Monster Mile" was Lagasse Jr.'s first in four career starts at the one-mile concrete oval.

"We dug ourselves in a hole early in the race but battled back to end the day in the top 20," said Lagasse Jr. "After a tough few weeks, this is a step in the right direction but we definitely feel we should be running consistently in the top 10 and we'll keep working hard to get to that point."

Lagasse Jr., who is currently 16th in the Nationwide Series point standings, will be back in action Saturday, May 29th, when the NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Tech-Net Auto Service 300 on ABC at 2:00 p.m. ET.
