SK Motorsports, a newly formed NASCAR Nationwide Series team, qualified 42nd for the Camping World 300 at the Daytona International Speedway Friday afternoon. The team will start in the 37th position for Saturday's event.

SK Motorsports, co-owned by Pete Szekeres and Jared Keeney, will run the Nationwide schedule and field the No. 07 SK Motorsports Toyota. David Green, the 1994 Series champion, will pilot the car and his expertise and knowledge will immediately move the new team forward.

Green was one of the earliest drivers to qualify Friday afternoon, but was able to put down two solid qualifying laps and place SK Motorsports solidly in their first NASCAR event.

Comments from driver David Green after qualifying at Daytona:

"This team started about 19 days ago and we've come a long way. We've got to thank Toyota for all their support and everything they have done to help. Pete, Jared and all these guys have worked so hard to get this team up in a short time.

"We probably have different goals than some of the others for this race, but we know the long-term goal is to go out there and put on a good show and give value to sponsors. This is a building block and we're taking it one step at a time."
