* Brian Scott Looking for To-10 Finish at Darlington Raceway
This weekend's Diamond Hill Plywood 200 will mark Scott's fourth NASCAR Nationwide Series start. Scott has never competed at Darlington Raceway but logged laps there in December during a test session with his Camping World Truck Series team.
Scott, a Boise, Idaho-native is currently in his second year of full-time competition in the Camping World Truck Series for Xpress Motorsports.
SCOTT ON RACING AT DARLINGTON RACEWAY
"I have never raced at Darlington but I tested there last December with my Truck Series team and we were really fast out of the box. It's definitely a challenging race track with both ends of the track being so different. Finding a good balance is key. You have to accept the fact that your car (or truck) is not going to be perfect on either end of the track so you just have to figure out where you can make up the most time to beat your competitors. Stewart (Cooper, crew chief) has plenty of experience at this race track so I will be relying heavily on his guidance throughout the weekend. We had a great run last weekend in Richmond and were headed toward a top-10 finish when we were involved in that late-race accident. We plan to recoup this weekend and bring the No. 10 Dollar General Camry home with a top-10 finish."
