After starting from the fifth spot, a career-best, Tracy Hines drove the No. 6 Ragu® Dodge Charger to a 24th place finish last weekend at Indianapolis Raceway Park.
Kasey Kahne will resume driving duties of the No. 6 Hungry Drivers™ Dodge this weekend when the NASCAR Busch Series returns to Watkins Glen. Kahne will drive the No. 6 Dodge in three of the next four races including Watkins Glen, Bristol and California.
Kahne at Watkins Glen
Kasey Kahne has just one start at The Glen. In last season's Nextel Cup event at Watkins Glen, Kahne posted a 14th place finish after starting from the 11th spot.
Kahne on Watkins Glen
"I look forward to competing in the Busch Series race at The Glen this weekend. It's exciting to see road course racing being reintroduced into the Busch Series, first in Mexico City and now at Watkins Glen. It has been five years since the Busch Series has raced at Watkins Glen, so it is going to be challenging for some of the younger Busch regulars that have never raced there. I tested with the Hungry Drivers™ team last week and I think we all left feeling that we have a really good, really fast car that handles extremely well and is capable of winning this weekend. The Busch program has really gotten turned around over the last couple of months and it is due time for them to go to victory lane. I would like to do that for them this weekend."
Crew Chief, Trip Bruce, on Watkins Glen
"The Hungry Drivers™ team tested at Watkins Glen with Kasey last week. We have a new road coarse that has never been raced and after testing it we feel confident that it is a car capable of running up front. Kasey was very pleased with the car's handling though he felt he needed a little better stopping power from the brakes to be extremely competitive."
Kahne will compete with chassis No. 18 in this weekend's. This is a brand new chassis that has never been raced.
Kasey Kahne and the Hungry Drivers™ team tested at Watkins Glen last week in preparation for this weekend's Zippo 200.
Hellmann's® mayonnaise will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 6 Dodge Charger in this weekend's event.
