LEFFLER LOOKS FORWARD TO CHALLENGE OF SECOND ROAD COURSE RACE OF THE SEASON

Leffler has one career start at Watkins Glen International. In 2000, Leffler started 32nd and finished 28th at the 2.45-mile road course.

In the NASCAR Busch Series' first road course race of the year in March at Autodromos Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, Leffler overcame a 40th place starting spot to finish 17th.

Leffler will once again have a teammate in this weekend's Zippo 200, as Dave Blaney will pilot the No. 32 Hass Avocados Chevrolet for Braun Racing.

LEFFLER ON RACING AT WATKINS GLEN:

"Road course racing is somewhat unfamiliar territory to me so this weekend's race at Watkins Glen is going to be quite a challenge. Luckily, I think a majority of the other Busch drivers feel pretty much the same way so we are all in the same boat. I do think it's fun to mix it up for a weekend though so I'm looking forward to the challenge of it. I have a lot of confidence in this Great Clips team especially with the success they saw last season in both road course events, finishing fourth in Mexico and ninth in Watkins Glen. We are taking that same car, obviously one proven for success, so if I can stay on the track and keep the fenders on, I don't doubt for a second we'll be able to come home with a good solid finish."

TESTING:

Leffler and the Great Clips Racing team spent a day testing at Virginia International Raceway last month in preparation for this weekend's Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen.
